Are Allagash ciders, wines and hop waters gluten-free?

Our ciders, wines, and hop waters are made with naturally gluten-free ingredients, and we follow thorough cleaning procedures to minimize cross-contact with shared surfaces used for beer production. Still, trace levels of gluten may be introduced.

We test our final products to ensure gluten levels are very low (below 20 parts per million). But because fermentation can break gluten into smaller fragments that testing might miss, the FDA has concerns that results from fermented products could be inaccurate. For these reasons, we cannot guarantee our products are gluten-free.
